Our Mission
The National Catholic Council for Hispanic Ministry (NCCHM) is a national Catholic organization that promotes the advocacy, education, networking, and leadership development of Hispanic Catholics in the United States. Since 1991, NCCHM has served as a forum and network for dialogue, reflection, and collaboration among pastoral leaders, ministerial organizations, apostolic movements, religious congregations, and academic institutions committed to the Hispanic Catholic community.
We work to empower Hispanic leaders and ministries through formation, mutual support, and collective action. Rooted in faith and cultural identity, our mission is to foster the full participation of Hispanics in the life of the Church and in the transformation of society.
Our Vision
We envision a Church in the United States where Hispanic Catholics are fully engaged, recognized, and formed as pastoral leaders and agents of change. Inspired by a synodal and missionary spirit, we seek to build a more inclusive, prophetic, and intercultural Church, in communion with the universal call to justice, solidarity, and human dignity.
