“Prophetic Voices: Being Bridges for a New Era.”

Prophetic Voices: The Song of Raíces y Alas

The official song of the 6th National Catholic Congress Raíces y Alas captures the spirit of the gathering: walking together in communion, going forth as the Church of the Lord, and building bridges of love and life.
Through its bilingual verses and refrain, Prophetic Voices invites us to root ourselves in God’s love and rise on the wings of the Spirit. It calls us to dare to create, to bring healing to the pain of others, to leave behind our comfort zones, and to ensure that everyone has a place at the table of God.

Pastoral Juvenil: Prophetic Voices, Protagonists of Hope
Young people at the heart of the Church’s mission.
Pastoral Juvenil places Hispanic/Latino youth and young adults at the center of evangelization, formation, and vocational discernment. Inspired by Mary’s “yes” and Pope Francis’ call in Christus Vivit, this ministry accompanies jóvenes through every stage of life, fostering leadership, faith, and community. When youth are given a place at the table, they become prophetic voices and true protagonists of hope for the Church and society.
Social Justice & Human Development
Faith in action for dignity and hope.
Hispanic/Latino ministry has always embraced the vision of Vatican II, linking evangelization with justice and human development. This mission means advocating for systemic change, equipping lay leaders to transform injustice, and responding with care to the most vulnerable. Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, we are called to build communities of solidarity, peace, and participation—where every person can flourish and the dignity of life is upheld.
Pastoral Formation
Equipping leaders for a synodal Church.
Pastoral formation in Hispanic/Latino ministry is rooted in the living Christ and calls for integral, intercultural, and ongoing training. It seeks to form new leaders and strengthen current ones through pastoral care, accompaniment, and witness. By embracing diverse contexts and fostering dialogue across cultures, pastoral formation prepares ministers to serve as bridges of faith, justice, and hope in the Church and society.
